The History of the H.O.P.E. for Healing Institute
Since established on May 11, 2009, H.O.P.E. for Healing Institute has supplemented hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments for several individuals from small children to senior citizens who were low-income or indigent.
H.O.P.E. for Healing Institute has supplemented HBOT treatment for over 111 individuals, with contributions over $125,000 to help patients recieve life saving treatment over our first 14 years of existence. This includes more than 2,600 hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments. Of those patients, 22 were seniors and 15 were children. All were low-income or indigent.
Of the patients whose HBOT treatment we supplemented, 84% showed moderate to complete recovery. Benefits to patients from HBOT include the avoidance of amputations, complete reversal of radiation burns, reduction of paralysis, and decrease or elimination of pain.

The infection at my foot became so bad, my body went into shock, I was scared to death, but I was able to start antibiotics and Hyperbaric oxygen therapy right away. I believe this treatment saved my foot and I am even healthier now than before the infection!

Healing Pain, Both Physical and Emotional
I never expected the burning pain that I felt after radiation treatment. It was so red and sensitive that I couldn't sleep through the night. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy took away that constant burning pain and I was completely scar-free! My radiologic tech couldn't believe it!

Restoring Independence, and Self-reliance
I was told that amputation of my foot was necessary, and I would be stuck in convalescent care for the rest of my Life. I avoided amputation, went from a wheelchair to a walker, to a cane, then moved back to my own home and got my life back!
